The Fitness Agency is a Jersey company which is devoted to ‘bringing fitness home’. We are a professionally qualified and helpful team who can offer advice about hiring or buying any of our high quality fitness equipment including the new Tunturi 2008 model range, which includes models such as the Tunturi C60 Crosstrainer and the Tunturi T40 Treadmill.

Which pieces of Fitness Equipment?

Deciding which piece of fitness equipment to purchase can sometimes be daunting, below is a brief introduction to treadmills, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes and rowing machines.

Treadmills

Treadmills have become even more popular over the last few years with more treadmills entering the market with commercial style features and build quality for under a £1000. The Tunturi T30 treadmill is a prime example. Treadmills provide a cardio vascular workout and help improve your bone density. Most of the Treadmills that The Fitness Agency sell are foldable and so storing them after use is easy. The Tunturi T85 treadmill once folded is easily moved as it has four wheels.

Elliptical Trainers / Crosstrainers

Elliptical trainers also commonly know as crosstrainers have been on the market now for over a decade. They have become very popular as unlike treadmills they provide a low impact cardio vascular exercise. Your feet never leave the ground and so elliptical trainers are ideally suited for those who want a demanding cardio vascular workout without the impact. The new 2007 range of Tunturi elliptical trainers is proving to be very popular especially the Tunturi C40 crosstrainer.

Exercise Bikes

Tunturi was one of the first manufacturers to produce an exercise bike and they have used their extensive knowledge to produce an excellent product range for 2007 including the awesome Tunturi E80 exercise bike. We have two Tunturi exercises bikes available in our hire range including the Tunturi F20 and Tunturi E40. Exercises bikes also provide a low impact cardio vascular workout and help tone the muscles in your legs.

Rowing Machines

Rowing machines workout more muscles in your body than any other single piece of cardio vascular fitness equipment. Using one of the excellent WaterRowers will utilise 84% of your muscles, helping with toning, coordination and providing a cardio vascular workout. Some rowing machines have the ability to stand on end or fold, the WaterRower range is capable of being stood on end and the Tunturi R60 rowing machine can be folded and stood on its end.
